HISTORY
Profile of Founders:
Aishah Azizan is a native of Jitra,
Kedah. Although she holds a Diploma in Information Technology, her passion has
always been towards chocolate. She had always heard her late father said that
chocolate was a promising product to market because coco contains minerals and
fibers, thus are naturally beneficial for health besides tasting delicious. Aishah took 2 years researching the
potential of the chocolate industry before finally delving into the chocolate
business. Thus Chocenwrapper (CnW) was born. Aishah believed the value of her business
lies in providing her customers affordable yet good quality locally produced
chocolate which are Halal certified.

Startup Concept Exemplified:
CnW fulfills two gaps in the current
market; first, to offer competition to existing chocolate companies which are
largely from multinational corporations, second, offering customers choices of
affordable, good quality and Halal certified chocolate from a local
company/manufacturer. Their current marketing strategies enables CnW
to maintain the status-quo of their business. However for CnW
to penetrate the Malaysia market, beyond their local Jitra,
there is a need to build the CnW chocolate brand in the hearts and
mind of the Malaysian customers. Thus CnW is currently working on
establishing their brand name through more effective marketing strategies and
tactics.
